a flutter of the mind trickles
it's way down the walls
a hall where it glistens,
whispering forgotten memories
some are new,
fresh,
flawless,
others are scarred,
faded,
no longer sparkling.
days turn into months,
months into years.
the flutter keeps fighting
its way into the mind,
covering visions that came before itself,
blowing out
each other’s silver fire,
layers and layers of happiness,
sadness,
anger.
memories over memories.
